This is us!

Hi! My name is Kim Haskell! My wife Jaycie and I create the beautiful wedding films you see here on Kim Haskell Cinematography. I have been making films since I was 5 years old, and professionally for the last 8 years. Jaycie came from a management background and has been working with me since our marriage in May of 2018. Together, we work full-time creating wedding films, business videos, and the occasional narrative film.

Why do our videos look different?

We choose to focus our films on the most important part of any wedding- the people. You’ll notice most of the shots we use feature smiling faces and stolen moments with the bridal party. Other companies focus too much on the decor, the venue, or overuse shots on gimbals and drones. While this makes it easier to capture certain things, it can make the video boring and hard to watch. We spend our time quietly filming, only interrupting to suggest a pose, prompt a fun moment or crack a smile. We feel this approach let’s the wedding day happen naturally, and yields some of the most tender moments caught on film.

We want to make your wedding day the best it can be, even if we aren’t a part of it! My wife Jaycie and I are eager to share our favorite venues, honeymoon destinations as well as share insider knowledge on anything from wedding cakes to diy floral decor!
